Little Halloween Workshop of Horrors
(This workshop is a three day workshop for ages 8-13yrs)
Day 1:
Monday 27th October (10 – 2pm) 4hours
Make your own Mask - To kick things off for the Halloween midterm we will start by making a cool, scary, mask using some Papier Mache techniques and plaster. Your little monsters can show their real inner monsters and just in time for Halloween too!
Day 2:
Tuesday 28th October (10 – 2pm) 4hours
Spooky Lantern, slime and potions – For the first part of the workshop we will be making a cool, silhouette, Halloween lantern which will light the way as we make slime, some fizzing and exploding potions and gross experiments. Sure to be messy and a fun experience.
Day 3:
Wednesday 29th October (10 – 4pm) 6hours
Creepy journal and day trip – We will make our own creepy journal which we will then bring with us on our own private bus out to Johnstown Castle where we will have some fun doing some drawing challenges and having snacks and hot chocolate. A nice way to finish off the three day camp
*This workshop is intended as an all intensive 3 day experience but can be booked as a two day experience for €115, or even a one day experience for €60. So feel free to get in touch about availability for your choice of day and we’ll work something out.

Weekly Classes

After school Art Classes
(8-12yrs) & (13-18yrs)
After school art classes are centered around learning the fundamentals of art, through drawing and painting using pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolour and acrylics. Students are taught a variety of techniques in how to compose their work while being encouraged to develop and realise their own ideas.
It all happens in the Light and Shadow studios which offers a comfortable, relaxed environment where students come to express themselves in a social surround of like minded individuals.

Evening Classes for Adults
If you’ve always been interested in art or wished you could let out that creative side of yourself, then join us in the relaxed atmosphere of the upstairs studios in Light and Shadow and unlock that side of yourself. You’ll be surrounded by like-minded people and no matter your ability or level, you will be welcomed.
Classes are run weekly and centre around painting and drawing using a variety of mediums. All materials are supplied so you just need to bring yourself and your willingness to learn :)
